From the Parish Newsletter December 2007/January 2008:

We have started the new Autumn term with the highest numbers ever at the pre school and set to rise by the end of the school year! All very exciting. Due to the increased interest and demand for places we have started doing afternoon sessions. In addition to all the fun things for the children we also have a fun packed range of events for parents and families to raise additional funds for the Pre School, starting with a Jumble sale on the 17th of November.

So why not come and see us! We have an experienced manager, caring staff and an enthusiastic committee. We have Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), a great relationship with Early Years Service, and a recent OFSTED report that we are immensely proud of. Nursery funding is available, and we welcome children from two to five years of age (and they do not have to be potty trained). Talk to other mums, chat to people in the village, see the children, look at all the exciting things that the children are doing and learning. We believe that we can offer your child a fantastic start to their education and social development.

To arrange to come and take a look contact us via phone or e mail -what ever is easiest - we look forward to seeing you.

From the Parish Newsletter August/September 2007:

Blackboys Pre-School has enjoyed a hugely successful year, and as it draws to a close we wish our Rising 5s well as they make the move up to 'Big School'. We shall miss them all! However, we have lots of new children to fill their places, and numbers continue to rise which is great for the future of the pre-school. So, it will be all change come September, with lots of new children and also a new manager, as Teresa Howell moves on to pastures new. She leaves it in great shape though, and her contribution to the success of the pre-school has been immense. Thank you!

From September, we are offering two afternoon sessions at the Pre-School, as well as the five mornings and optional lunchclub. Nursery funding is available, and we welcome children from two to five years of age (and they don't even have to be potty-trained!).

We believe that we can offer your child a fantastic start to their education. But don't just take our word for it. Talk to other mums, chat to people in the village, come andvisit us!

Please give us a ring (please note the new phone number) to arrange a visit - our new Manager would be delighted to show you around.

From the Parish Newsletter June/July 2007:

Blackboys Pre-School continues to go from strength to strength. Our recent glowing OFSTED report has added to our reputation, and we are now attracting more children than ever - in fact we have only a handful of places left for September, so if you are interested, you'll need to get in quick!
We are also delighted to announce that as from September, we will be trialling afternoon sessions at the Pre-School. These will run from 12.45-3.30pm on a Monday and Tuesday initially. This does of course mean that you will have the option of placing your child with us for a full day, from 9.15am to 3.30pm on those days. Nursery funding is available, and we welcome children from two to five years of age (and they don't even have to be potty-trained!).
We believe that we can offer your child a fantastic start to their education. But don't just take our word for it. Talk to other mums, chat to people in the village, come and visit us! We have a superb outdoor play area and sensory garden, fabulous staff, a Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and a great relationship with Early Years Service.
Please give us a ring and arrange a visit - our Manager would be delighted to show you around.
